2010 World Championships
The 2010 World Championships were held in July at The Royal George Hotel in Birdlip, Gloucestershire and were sponsored by the independent holiday cottage review website, MyCottageHoliday.co.uk.
New World Champions were crowned, with Tom Danby & David Booth beating former champion James Hughes and his partner Ollie Crees by 3 games to nil in a best of five final.
The World Championships were played on a table that was slightly narrower than that normally used for championship games. A feature of the games was the longer than usual rallies and the players' inability to force opponents wide of the table.
